I would totally fail as an influencer. My kids have zero desire to wear matching outfits. However, once a year, on Christmas Eve, they humor me and all get into that year’s matching family pajamas. We order festive but not too Christmas-y sets from Pajamagram with the goal that these could be worn year round.
My kids have all grown a lot since we began this tradition in 2019, so they pass down their pajamas to the next kid in line, but I haven’t grown. That means I now have five pairs of relatively nice pajamas. They are comfortable and look reasonably put together, either as a set in the winter or combining the pants with a tank top in the summer.
There have definitely been periods of my life when I’ve worn ratty sweat pants to bed, and I have to say that real pajamas are a big improvement. If you’re looking for an easy way to upgrade your daily life, getting some nice pajamas could be a fairly low cost way to do that.
For starters, pajamas that are meant to be pajamas tend to be soft and cozy (I can’t speak to those intended to be more racy…but maybe those aren’t really meant to be worn!). They also make getting ready for bed early more appealing. Getting ready for bed early increases the chances that you actually go to bed early.
Plus it’s just fun to wear something reasonably flattering and stylish even if the only people seeing it are you and your family. Night time isn’t an after thought in life, and pajamas don’t need to be either. So why not get some nice ones today?
I bought some “London-adorned” pajamas after my April trip to London and really like them, which motivated me to get numerous pairs of other adorned pjs from the same place. Not very expensive and feel like a queen when I get ready for bed!
This post made me laugh out loud as I never spend on pyjamas and that would actually totally motivate me to get into bed earlier!! Love this !! gracias!
