Find resolutions overwhelming? Try this instead
A little hack that lets you set more goals - and have a better chance of achieving them
I love setting New Year’s resolutions. There’s something about the clean slate of a new calendar year that makes me want to set new goals. Indeed, I often get started thinking about my resolutions in November, so I can be sure they are both feasible and motivating, and so I have a plan in place for success on January 1st.
That said, I know that annual goals can be overwhelming. Plus, there is often the crowding factor. People want to start an exercise routine, and declutter their homes, and create a budget, and write a novel, and they try to start all of this in January and then someone gets the flu and boom. All that resolution energy is gone.
That’s why I think it’s often wise to take a different approach.
